By Air
A short 1 hour flight from Delhi to Dehradun’s Jolly Grant airport followed by a one-hour drive. Flights are daily (possibly excluding Mondays – to be confirmed) and leave in the mornings in both directions. Timings to be confirmed.

By Helicopter
The resort’s private helipad is available for chartered flights from New Delhi and Agra. 1 hr 20 mins

By Train
The Shatabadi Express, one of India’s finest trains, operates between Delhi and Haridwar. This excellent 4 ½ -hour train journey is then followed by a one-hour drive into the hills. The Shatabadi Express departs New Delhi station daily at 07.00am, arriving in Haridwar at 11.25am. The Jan Shatabadi departs Delhi daily (except Sundays) at 15.30pm arriving in Haridwar at 19.50pm. The Shatabadi Express departs Haridwar daily at 18.10pm, arriving in Delhi at 22.40pm. The Jan Shatabadi departs Haridwar daily (except Sundays) at 06.20am, arriving in Delhi at 11.25am.

By Road
The driving time between Delhi and Narendra Nagar is approximately six and half-hours.

Important Note
In lieu of the upcoming Kumbh Mela, please find mentioned below details pertaining to Arrival & Departure for Ananda in the Himalayas

From January 7 – May 6, 2010, all pick up and drop of guests will be from Dehradun Railway Station.

After May 7, 2010, Ananda will re-start transfers from Haridwar Railway Station.

Please note that the car charges for one way transfer from Dehradun Railway Station remains INR 2400 per car (same cost as Haridwar railway Station). Equally, the car charge for pick-up or drop from Delhi remains INR 14,000 per car.

During the said period, it is recommend to travel by flight from Delhi to Dehradun. Flight schedules provided below
